Wow! How fast has 4 weeks has flown by. I can't believe I have been working here downtown for so long already. So far, the change has been amazing! Everyone is popping in to say hello and I can't say how much that means that you are following me downtown. You must really really like me! Parking is the one downside to downtown businesses, but I have started suggesting parking around Broadway near the residential area and taking the 10 minutes to walk across the bridge(that is what I do nearly every day!) or if you are going to be here for more that 90 mins(ahem, you color clients!) parking a Midtown Plaza is a more stressful option because you don't have to plug a meter. If you are processing during a color, I don't mind running out and plugging a meter as long as it isn't minus 30 outside and you aren't parked 5 miles away. Haha.
I've been testing out the new restaurants downtown as well. Jake's on 21st serves delicious food with healthy options. The Local serves a great cup of coffee(I prefer an americano), and of course for after work drinks and supper Bon Temps is still one of my favorites. Looking forward to trying more now that I am within walking distance.
